The space
Unwind and reconnect at the Orange Door Cottage, a beautifully restored stone studio designed for couples seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of wine country. Blending original charm with modern comforts, this cosy retreat offers a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for slowing down and soaking up the surrounds.

Inside, the open-plan layout combines the living, bedroom, and kitchen spaces into one thoughtfully styled retreat. The cottage retains its historic character while offering all the modern luxuries needed for a comfortable stay. The cosy living area is perfect for relaxing with a glass of local wine, while the well-equipped kitchen allows for slow breakfasts and easy evenings in.

The spacious bathroom has been designed with relaxation in mind, featuring a large soaking bath and open walk-in shower, creating a private spa-like experience within the cottage.

Located just metres from the Home of Plenty Cellar Door, guests can enjoy wine tastings, long lunches, and afternoon drinks only steps from their front door. Unwind by the fire pit as the sun sets, surrounded by peaceful countryside and fresh air, Home of Plenty Cottage is the perfect setting for romantic weekends away, special occasions, or quiet escapes from the everyday.

Guest access
Guest can enjoy exclusive access to the entire Orange Door Cottage. Parking is accessed via the Cellar Door driveway. Please look out for the new signage directing you to your dedicated parking spot right by the tennis court. There is also easy access to the Cellar Door located less then 50 metres away from the home, making it ideal to enjoy some beautiful local wines during business hours!

Other things to note
- Quiet hours are strictly observed from 11 PM to 8 AM—please respect our neighbours and fellow guests.
- Parties and events are not permitted.
- The maximum guest occupancy is 2 people and must not be exceeded.
- Tennis court use is available between 11-5 and must be booked directly with Cellar Door staff, subject to availability. Tennis equipment is provided inside the cottage for your convenience.
- For safety, please ensure all fires are fully extinguished before leaving the property.
- We provide enough firewood for two fires during your stay. Should you wish to have additional fires, you are welcome to purchase additional firewood locally. Alternatively, you’re very welcome to bring your own firewood.

NOTE: Outdoor fires are not permitted from November through to April during the fire danger season. The internal pot-belly fire may be used during this period, unless a Total Fire Ban is declared for the area.

Guests are responsible for checking the current fire restrictions with the local CFS (Country Fire Service) before using any fire during their stay. Any fines incurred due to non-compliance during your stay will be your responsibility, and the property owners are not liable for these penalties.

CLEANING FEE
Our cleaning fee covers a thorough, professional cleaning by our in-house, trained staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness. At Norfolk Property Management we always ensure our properties are guest ready at a premium level. We use beautiful, professionally laundered and sanitised cotton sheets for a fresh, comfortable stay, and every detail is meticulously attended to. Plus, we provide personalised welcome packs, including wine & local produce to make your arrival extra special

AMENITIES
To help you get settled, we provide an initial starter pack of essentials designed for a 2-night stay, including but not limited to toilet paper, coffee, milk, dishwashing tablets, and laundry detergent.

PETS:
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and subject to mutual agreement with the host. A standard pet fee of $100 per stay applies and is not included in the initial booking cost. Guests are responsible for supervising and caring for their pets throughout their stay, including cleaning up after them both inside and outside the property. Any damage, excessive cleaning, or additional maintenance required as a result of a pet's stay may incur further charges.
